The 'Cranwell Brats' refers to RAF Aircraft Apprentices who spent three of their most formative years learning Radio and RADAR trades at RAF Cranwell. Their theme song was 'The Lincolnshire Poacher' with its initial line of 'When I was bound Apprentice in famous Lincolnshire'.
It's now over 60 years on, but the bond remains.
